I’m a final year MChem student at Brasenose College. During my undergrad course, I did 2 summer placements – one in the CRL working on natural product synthesis in Professor Ed Anderson’s group and the other at AstraZeneca, working on analytical chemistry techniques used in drug development. My project this year is focussed on the elucidation of the mechanism of action of small molecule modulators of Utrophin for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
