Funded PDRA positions are advertised on the University and Department websites as they become available. General PDRA enquires are welcome, but prospective applicants are advised to explore possible funding opportunities for which they are eligible, prior to contacting AJR. We have successfully supported applications for PDRAs to secure funding or fellowships to support their stay in Oxford.

D.Phil opportunities

Prospective D.Phil applicants are welcome to contact AJR at any time to discuss projects and funding opportunities. Information on the formal application procedure for graduate study can be found here.

Part II opportunities

The AJR group usually hosts up to four Part II students per year. A copy of our most recent Part II poster can be found by clicking on the image on the right. Prospective students should contact AJR in the first instance.

Vacation placements

The AJR group usually hosts undergraduate students for vacation placements. These placements can last from 1 to 12 weeks, usually during the summer. These are unpaid, but where students are eligible to apply, we are very willing to support applications for bursaries.
